About the Event

The Chassis Design Challenge tests advanced CAD modeling and assembly skills. Teams receive an assembly brief and must design the complete assembly with accurate dimensions and proper fitment using CAD tools like SolidWorks or CATIA. The competition evaluates 3D modeling proficiency, attention to detail, and efficiency. The team that completes the assembly most accurately in the shortest time wins.

Rules & Guidelines

• Each team may comprise up to 3 members.
• Use of the internet or any external communication tools is strictly prohibited in the competition.
• Teams must bring their own laptops with the necessary CAD software pre-installed and fully functional.
• The assembly design problem will be disclosed at the start of the competion.
• The event duration is limited to 3 hours.
• Teams that submit their completed assembly model with correct dimensions before the time llimit will be prioritized in ranking.
• All decisions made by the judging panel are final and bindiing.
